Michael Castillo, MS
Doctor of Psychology Practicum Student
Michael Castillo is a practicum student at the Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CCAMH) and a Doctor of Psychology student at Capella University. Born and raised on California’s Central Coast, Michael is deeply committed to giving back to the community that shaped him. He holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in applied research, grounding his clinical work in evidence-based practices and culturally responsive care. His professional background includes providing behavioral health care coordination and wellness coaching to underserved populations, where he prioritized accessible, outcomes-driven care. Michael is excited to contribute to CCAMH’s mission and support the emotional and developmental needs of children, adolescents, and families in his home region. He is a student member of the American Psychological Association and serves as a student representative for the Central Coast Psychological Association. Michael enjoys spending time with his family and planning for their next adventure!
